Next week I will graduate from the National Film and Television School, where I have been studying for an MA in Directing Fiction. After two years of full-on filmy GRAFT, I'm ready to be thrust from school gates to face the industry, with a clutch of eclectic shorts that I'm very proud to have produced during my time at NFTS.
This final year has been an especially productive one, and I've made a number of exciting collaborative projects such as VOODOO MOUSTACHE and PENGUIN MAN. But I've never worked as hard, or for so long on a single project as I have with my graduation film, MUSICAL STAR! It was a biggie. FINALLY the film is complete, and I'm very excited to show off the stellar efforts of our whole cast and crew.

The film premieres next week at the BFI Southbank's National Film Theatre, alongside the accomplishments of my fellow NFTS comrades, whose work I'm so looking forward to watching. It's gon be emotional.

JIMMY hates musicals.
